12-20-17 CPD establishes Safe Exchange Zone
It is important for our community to BE safe and FEEL safe. The Chattanooga Police Department has designated a space in the front of the Police Service Center at 3410 Amnicola Hwy as a "Safe Exchange Zone."

UPDATE (1/12/18):
On January 11, 2018 the Chattanooga Police Department arrested Keair Curtis Goodman for the shooting of Dejuan Slate.

12-19-17 Traffic Crash/Entrapment - 6500 Bonny Oaks Dr.
On December 19, 2017 at 1:19 a.m. the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a vehicle crash at 6500 Bonny Oaks Dr. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

On November 28, 2017 at approximately 10:02 p.m., Chattanooga Police Traffic Division was notified of an officer involved collision at 3100 4th Avenue. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:
