No one was home and no one was injured when fire broke out late this morning in a Hixson duplex. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 11:13 a.m. and responded to 4670 Cary Lane with four fire companies. Lt. Jamie Ratchford with Squad 19 said smoke was visible when the first firefighters arrived on the scene.
