09-04-14 CFD and MDA Celebrate "60 Years Strong"
The Chattanooga Fire Department and the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association, Local 820, along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association will celebrate their 60-year partnership and kick off the firefighters' annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign to benefit children and adults affected by muscle disease throughout the Chattanooga area.
08-29-14 Small Fire Forces Evacuation at Tyner Middle Academy
No injuries were reported when a small fire broke out this afternoon at Tyner Middle Academy. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm around 1:00 p.m. and responded to 6837 Tyner Road with six fire companies.

The Chattanooga Fire Department's 8th annual Firefighters Against Hunger Food Drive for this year is history and the totals are in from the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
08-23-14 Early Morning Fire Damages Hixson Home
Fire caused substantial damage to a Hixson home early this morning. Fortunately, no one was injured. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 3:00 a.m. and responded to 6208 North Innsbrook Drive with five fire companies.
08-21-14 Apartment Dryer Fire Displaces 18 People
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a fire shortly before 11 this morning at the Rustic Village North at 4616 Sunflower Lane.
