06-17-14 Morning Fire Damages House in Hixson
Chattanooga firefighters rushed to a reported house fire at 5454 Hixson Pike around 9:30 this morning. Battalion Chief Jeff Eldridge said smoke and flames were visible toward the back of the structure when the first firefighters arrived.

Business and traffic along Market Street in downtown Chattanooga were disrupted for more than an hour this morning when a construction crew accidentally broke into a buried natural gas line.

At 11:57 p.m. Saturday (5-24-14) the Chattanooga Fire Department was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at 7507 East Brainerd Rd at the Maxi Auto Center.
