Chattanooga firefighters responded to a reported kitchen fire at 600 Lytle Street in North Chattanooga at 5:50 p.m. There were reportedly two people in the house when a neighbor discovered the fire.
04-01-14 Chattanooga Firefighters Head Off Major Apartment Fire
The calls started coming in to 911 Communications at 2:41 p.m. People were calling to say they could see big flames coming from an apartment at Mountain Creek Apartments.
03-26-14 Fire Guts Vacant House in North Chattanooga
Chattanooga firefighters are still on the scene of a house fire in North Chattanooga tonight. The first call was received at 911 Communications at 7:35 p.m., and the plume of smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
03-23-14 Early Morning Fire Guts Vacant Commercial Building
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a commercial fire around 3:30 this morning at 4201 Dodds Avenue. Firefighters from Station 9 in East Lake were the first to arrive on the scene. Captain Michael Schroyer said the building was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene.
