04-09-14 Woman Addicted to Sniffing Gas Arrested for Endangering Lives
A Chattanooga woman was arrested today in connection with a fire on March 29, 2014 at Mountain Brook Apartments. Captain Craig Haney with Quint 17 said he and other firefighters noticed the strong smell of gasoline in the apartment where the fire occurred.
04-06-14 Man Arrested a 2nd Time for Starting a Fire at the Dome Building
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a fire at the Dome Building located at 736 Georgia Avenue shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday night. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they observed the glass doors and windows had been broken out.
04-03-14 Cause of Business Fire Suspicious in Nature
Chattanooga fire investigators are trying to figure out how a fire started at a business when there was no power to the building and no one was supposedly there.
04-03-14 Business Fire Under Investigation
One of two businesses located in the same building was gutted by fire this morning. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the initial alarm around 10:30 a.m. and responded to 901 Dodson Avenue with six fire companies.
04-02-14 Fire Displaces Woman and Her Dog
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at 5517 Woodlawn Drive around 11:00 this morning. Firefighters with Quint 13 were the first firefighters to arrive on the scene.
