03-23-14 Early Morning Fire Guts Vacant Commercial Building
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a commercial fire around 3:30 this morning at 4201 Dodds Avenue. Firefighters from Station 9 in East Lake were the first to arrive on the scene. Captain Michael Schroyer said the building was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene.
03-21-14 House Burns While Family is Away
When someone called 911 Communications this morning around 11:30 to report a fire at 726 Sylvan Drive, Chattanooga firefighters were told that children might be trapped inside.

A majority of the residents who were displaced by Monday's electrical fire at Jaycee Towers returned late Wednesday afternoon.

Repair crews are making progress at Jaycee Towers following yesterday's fire, but the residents will not be able to return to their homes tonight.
