Beware of fundraising scams in wake of school bus crash
Chattanooga Police and Northgate Mall Security believe there is a man on mall property attempting to collect money for Woodmore Elementary and the victims in the Talley Road school bus crash. Officers are working to determine the credibility of his intentions and actions.
11-27-16 Shooting/Robbery - 2200 block Vance Ave
Police respond to a call for parties shot. Two victims are found with nonlife-threatening injuries. One of the injured parties told investigators he was also robbed by the suspect(s).
11-26-16 Shooting 30 Hwy 27
A couple traveling in a vehicle show up at a local hospital with nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds. Neither is able to provide investigators with suspect(s) descriptions.
11-26-16 Traffic Crash/Fatality 1200 E 37th St
A female passenger is killed in a single vehicle crash Saturday afternoon. The driver suffered serious injuries.
11-25-16 Shooting - Unknown Location
Two parties show up at local hospital with nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds, but won't cooperate with police on investigation.
