Chattanooga fire investigators are trying to locate a suspect who is believed responsible for setting five vehicle fires Sunday night around 9:00 p.m. in the Brainerd area.
08-28-2013 Woman Arrested After Trying to Burn Down Duplex
Chattanooga firefighters and fire investigators were called to a reported domestic disturbance around 9:30 this morning at a duplex located at 1724-B Wilson Street. Eyewitnesses told firefighters that a woman poured gasoline on the porch of the duplex and one side of it, then set it on fire and left.
08-25-2013 Firefighters Respond to Sunday Morning House Fire
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 815 Mountain Creek Road around 9:30 this morning.Captain Michael Thomas with Quint 17 said smoke was visible when they arrived on the scene.

Chattanooga fire investigators arrested a woman this afternoon in connection with this morning's house fire at 1850 Newell Avenue.
08-22-2013 No Injuries in Morning House Fire
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 1850 Newell Avenue at 8:36 this morning. A passerby called 911 Communications, saying flames were shooting through the windows and that someone might still be inside.
