08-22-2013 No Injuries in Morning House Fire
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 1850 Newell Avenue at 8:36 this morning. A passerby called 911 Communications, saying flames were shooting through the windows and that someone might still be inside.
08-13-2013 Firefighters Respond to House Fire in Lookout Valley
As a severe thunderstorm moved through Chattanooga last night, 911 Communications received numerous calls related to automobile wrecks and automatic fire and burglar alarms.

Incident #1 - Chattanooga firefighters responded to a variety of emergency calls on Sunday, including a commercial fire around 7:30 p.m. at Bentco Office Supplies at 1501 Stuart Street (see attached photo).

07-18-2013 Update on Apartment Fire at 5407 Hixson Pike
[Update]
The cause of this morning's fire at North River Village Apartments at 5407 Hixson Pike has been ruled accidental. Lt. Andrew Waters with the Fire Investigation Division believes the fire started accidentally, though what exactly sparked the blaze remain under investigation.
