Chattanooga firefighters were called to Memorial Hospital at 2525 deSales Avenue around 4:00 this afternoon when a small fire was reported at a construction site.
04-14-2013 Firefighters Save Commercial Building
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a commercial fire around 9:30 this morning at 2158 West Shepherd Road. The first arriving fire crew found smoke coming from the roof of the single-story commercial building.
04-13-2013 Fire Damages Home in Hixson
Chattanooga firefighters received a call at approximately 3:25pm. Judy Brown was at working at Leslie's Casuals located on Hixson Pike, when she noticed several fire trucks go by. Ms. Brown did not think anything of it until a family member called her to tell her that her house was on fire.
04-10-2013 Firefighters Rescue Woman from Tram Shaft
Chattanooga firefighters were called to the corner of Market and 1st Street shortly before 11:00 last night after a woman reportedly fell into an elevator shaft.
04-08-2013 Update on Fatal Fire on Rawlings Street
The child who was flown to the burn center in August, Georgia on April 1, 2013 following the fatal fire on Rawlings Street is now listed in critical, but stable condition. That's according to a physician's assistant at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center.
