03-27-2013 Cause of Apartment Fire Ruled Accidental
The cause of this morning's fire at Bluff View at Mountain Creek apartments has been ruled accidental. Captain Anthony Moore with the Fire Investigation Division says the fire was most likely started by an electrical malfunction.

Captain Anthony Moore with the Fire Investigation Division has identified the victim at Z.M. Tussey. He was 95. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
03-25-2013 Elderly Man Dies in House Fire
Fire raced through a home in Rivermont late Sunday night, resulting in an apparent fire fatality. Around 11:00 p.m., a husband and wife at 3226 Van Buren Street heard popping noises coming from the back of the house.
03-19-2013 Employees Fall Ill at Holiday Inn Express
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to the Holiday Inn Express at 4820 Hixson Pike around 10:30 this morning after two housekeeping employees fell ill.
03-18-2013 No Injuries in Morning Structure Fire
Shortly after 2:00 this morning, Chattanooga firefighters responded to a structure fire at 6234 Bonny Oaks Drive. The structure was a vacant convenience store with attached vacant apartments in the rear.
