Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire shortly before 1:00 this morning. Captain Shellie Thorne with Engine 12 said both of the elderly residents were out of the house when the first firefighters arrived on the scene at 205 ½ Winchester Street.

Chattanooga Fire Academy 2013 completed its week of live fire training today at a donated house located at 6626 Shallowford Road.
04-04-2013 Semi Truck Fire Spreads to Duplex
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a duplex fire around 7:00 p.m. today at 4205 Wilkesview Drive. Captain Terri Rose with Quint 6 said a tractor truck, parked next to the duplex, was engulfed in flames when the first firefighters arrived on the scene.
04-03-2013 Firefighters Distribute Free Smoke Alarms After Fatal Fire
Members of the Chattanooga Fire Department's Fire Prevention Bureau, along with firefighters from Station 4, canvassed the area around Rawlings Street in Avondale this morning, installing free smoke alarms.
