07-03-2013 Safety Tips for Flash Flooding
In light of the unusually wet forecast for this area in which heavy rains are expected for the next few days, the Chattanooga Fire Department is offering the following safety tips related to flash flooding:
06-27-2013 Cooking Fire Leaves Four Homeless
No injuries were reported in connection with a duplex fire at 3967 Arbor Place Lane. Chattanooga firefighters received the alarm just before midnight last night and responded to the scene with four fire companies.
06-23-2013 Fire Displaces Family of Six
No injuries were reported in connection with a house fire early Sunday morning. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 5:40 this morning and responded to 3639 Sapulpa Street with several fire companies.
06-17-2013 Teenager Burned in Cooking Fire
A 16-year-old girl was burned last night when a pan of grease ignited on the stove.
06-03-2013 Crash Involving Bus and Car Sends 8 to Hospital
A CARTA bus and a car collided around 1:00 this afternoon at the intersection of Carter Street and W. Main Street. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded with several fire companies.
