CFD Aids In Pocket Wilderness Rescue

On May 9^th, 2022, members of the Chattanooga Fire Department assisted with a rescue operation at the Pocket Wilderness located 354 Montlake Rd. A female hiker fell and sustained a serious leg fracture. Multiple agencies responding to assist with her rescue and carrying her out. Several hours later, the patient was extracted from the woods. HCEMS transported the injured female hiker to the hospital.
