Fill The Boot Is Back!!

Chattanooga, TN, 2021 — The Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 will be showing their continued support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as its members kick off the annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign to raise critical funds to help transform the lives of kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases.

Fill the Boot events were paused during the pandemic but dedicated members from the Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 will have boots in hand once again asking pedestrians, motorists, customers and other passersby to make a donation to MDA on October 28^th, October 29^th and October 30^th from 10am-2pm each day at locations across the area.

"We are so thankful for their continued commitment to cure neuromuscular disease and for their willingness to protect everyone on the frontlines in our community.”

Funds raised through the Fill the Boot event in 2021 will help the MDA save lives and lift those up in need, by providing the MDA with vital resources to advance their mission of driving innovations in science and care for the neuromuscular community. Contributions have helped fund groundbreaking research and life-enhancing programs such as state-of-the-art support groups and MDA Care Centers.
