Former Chattanooga Restaurant Damaged By Fire

Firefighters made an aggressive offensive attack from three sides.

But heavy winds were causing smoke to blow back across Bonny Oaks so everyone pulled back and went to a defensive attack.

They made a good stop in an effort keep the whole structure from burning.

An adjacent building sustained minimal damage.

One firefighter suffered a heat related injury on the scene and was transported to the hospital.

The vacant structure was left with extensive damage following the second alarm fire and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Twelve companies responded to the scene. Mutual aid helped provide fire coverage in the city.
