Steps Taken To Protect City During Water Main Break

Thanks to all of the Tender Strike Teams that came to town. We appreciate the support.

Tankers were strategically placed throughout the area to deploy quickly if necessary.

During this time, CFD helped fill the chillers at the Tennessee Aquarium and made sure tankers had water.

TVA’s portable pump was used to draft water out of the river.

It greatly helped with our efforts to be prepared to respond to fire calls.
